Kareri Lake Trek is located at an elevation of about 2,950 meters in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. It is a perfect weekend getaway if you want to switch off from your monotonous routine and get close to nature.
Surrounded by mountains and alpine trees, the Kareri Lake Trek is formed by the flow of the water bodies from the Minkiani peak. The trek to Kareri Lake Trek is one of the most scenic alpine treks in Himachal Pradesh that goes to several gushing streams and passes through green meadows. You will come across artistic shepherd villages that have a charm of their own. Other attractions are the Lord Shiva temple which is worth a visit. The trail to Kareri Lake Trek will definitely interest you if you’re interested in bird watching as there are various species of birds to look out for. So be ready with your cameras for that perfect capture. The forests here are a mix of pines and shrubs which act as perfect hiding for some exclusive birds.
The next half of the trail is a rocky grassland. You will be facing a huge variety of terrains on this trek, ranging from straight roads to river crossings over wooden bridges, and steep ascents. After arriving at the lake, spend some time clicking pictures there, before spending an amazing night in tents at the lake.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation By You:
In order to cover our expected loss from the cancellation of the booking there is set scale of charges which must be paid by you or anyone traveling with you;
From the booking date till 45 days prior to the departure date, 0% of the package cost is chargeable.
From 45 days to 31 days prior to the departure date, 50 % of the package cost is chargeable.
From 30 days to 16 days prior to the departure date, 75 % of the package cost is chargeable.
From 15 days to 1 day prior to the departure date, 100 % of the package cost is chargeable.
No Show. No Refund.
Cancellation policy will differ during the peak season and popular places.
Note: Some Hotels Have Different Cancellation Policy’s at the time of Booking Confirmation we’ll forward the revised Cancellation Policy as Per Hotel Package Booked.
SOME CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES ARE OUT OF OUR TENDER:
Refund for hotel payment will follow the hotel’s cancellation policy
Train tickets cancellations will follow the Railway’s policy
Flight tickets cancellations will follow the airlines’ company policy
OUR LIABILITIES & LIMITATIONS:
Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments/museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.
Changes Made By Us Before Travel:
We reserve the right to do any change to your Holiday program due to unexpected conditions. If you do not want to accept a significant change, which we will tell you about before you depart, we will (if we are able to do so) offer you an alternative holiday of equivalent or closely similar standard and price at no extra cost, or a less expensive Holiday, in which case we will refund the difference in price. If you do not wish to take the alternative we offer you, you can choose a different Holiday offered for sale by us and pay, or receive a refund of, any price difference. Or, if you prefer, you can cancel your Holiday and receive a full refund of deposits, which you have paid to us, except for any amendment charges of Rs 1500 – 5500.00.
Unless the change is as a result of circumstances such as fighting, disturbance, terrorist movement, natural tragedy, fire, bad weather conditions, we will pay you compensation as;
Before 12 or Fewer days prior to the departure date, Deposits only.
In case we cancel your tour due to unavoidable circumstances like when we won’t be able to provide you some or full promised services, then we will refund the full amount of deposits.
Circumstances Beyond Our Control:
We cannot pay any compensation, reimburse expenses, or cover losses for any amount or otherwise accept responsibility if as a result of circumstances beyond our control, we have to change your Holiday after booking, or we, cannot supply your Holiday, as we had agreed, or you suffer any loss or damage of any description. When we refer to circumstances beyond our control, we mean any event that we could not foresee or avoid, even after taking all reasonable care. Such circumstances will usually include but are not limited to, war, the threat of war, airport closures, epidemic, natural or nuclear disaster, terrorist activity, civil unrest, industrial dispute, bad weather.

→ The decision of the trek leader will be final and binding. Delays may occur due to weather conditions. Further, if there is heavy rainfall at any of the locations for camp, the trek leader may decide to lead the trek back to the previous point or any other point for the night camp. Any person with health conditions like Asthma etc is advised not to go for this expedition. However, if they so decide, it is at their own risk. Please take care of your own baggage. Mobile connectivity is not that good in such regions so it would be better if you make all the important phone calls in Kasol.
